So what is it about these ULV Cold Foggers that makes them the best cold foggers around? Read on to find out more. What does ULV stand for? ULV simply stands for Ultra Low Volume. ULV can be further defined as the amount of liquid needed to eliminate any present pests. The amounts of liquid are generally small amounts, hence the term ‘low volume’ in ULV.

  4. How do ULV Cold Foggers work? ULV Cold Foggers work by reducing the drop sizes of pesticides and other disinfectants using specially crafted nozzles. It is these nozzles that produce the fine mist or aerosol that is seen when spraying. ULV Cold Foggers generally run on electricity and hence will need a power source when in use. Because these foggers can also be portable it makes them very ideal for spraying both outdoors and indoors.
