Evolution Auction • You will be improving an animal • You start as a blob in the ocean that floats around. • You have 4 arms that can grab food and help you float, but you cannot swim, just exist in the water. • You reproduce by releasing sperm and eggs into the water to combine with others from your species • You will be given “money” to spend on improving your animal You as a blob.
Instructions • Review the Auction Schedule • Decide with your group what you think the best items will be • You will be willing to spend more money on these items • At the end, the group with the animal who can survive AND reproduce the best will win

Reflection • Draw your animal • Write a paragraph describing which animal would be the best at surviving and reproducing and why
