Diocesan Pastoral and Strategic Planning Diocese of Columbus
Purpose: • To educate parishioners on current conditions within their parish community; • To provide a means for the active and thoughtful involvement of the faithful to collaborate in charting our course as Church; • To develop strategies to address the rapidly changing demographic and economic factors in the diocese; • To help us live the mission of the Catholic Church by proclaiming and preaching the Gospel.

Parish Leadership ReportScenarios — Sample * SACRAMENTAL Nature of Parish Identify the specific parishioner needs as a result of the changing demographic (race, ethnicity, age, ministries) and develop a list of proposed programs/ ministries. SAMPLE • Scenario One:Parish Council reviews data and develops a list of needed ministries. (2) • Scenario Two:Pastor contacts diocesan office for assistance. (3) • Scenario Three:Parish Council, Stewardship Committee and parish staff develop a list of needs. (1)
