  1. What you will need for the best homemade cleaning detergents There is nothing better than home cleaning in the most natural way - cleaning with all natural, non-toxic, homemade cleaning detergents. They are easy to make and require just a couple of ingredients that you probably already have in the kitchen or in the bathroom. For example, check these out:

  2. 1. A detergent for deep cleaning the heaviest spots onto carpets and rugs: hot water with powder laundry detergent, dish detergent and baking soda. The foamy effect thanks to the baking soda is enough to make the solution penetrate deep into the bases of the fibers and thus dislodge even the hardest stains of kitchen grease, dry greasy spots, coffee spills, etc. It's recommended to let the cleaning solution to soak up for about an hour or so depending on the type of the carpet and on the staining condition. Yet it is definitely worth it, because it is cheap and easy to mix these ingredients in a medium-size bowl, then, apply the mixture with a towel or a sponge.

  3. 2. A detergent for light spots onto textile coverings and upholsteries: hot water, dish detergent, shampoo and baking soda. This solution creates a foaming effect much easily and quickly, which is perfect for wiping off all the light or small stains onto the carpets. It also saves you time if you have to deal with small area rugs or small carpets, or else - it provides a greater surface coverage when it comes to cleaning large and numerous spots. It is just perfect for the end of lease cleaning when you don't want to spend a lot of time cleaning your house.

  4. 3. A detergent for windows, glass, mirrors and porcelain: cool water and white vinegar are usually enough. You can always add a little bit of soap or dish detergent to the water, but try to make the solution not quite thicker so it can be easily sprayed with a spray bottle. The application is easier and it reduces the chance of a quick drying and/or forming dry stripes or other blemishes.

  5. 4. A detergent for hard floors such as tiles and grout, stone textures and others: hot water, rubbing alcohol, baking soda, vinegar. The solution should be applied via stiff brush along the grout lines so it can dislodge even the most persistent spots along the narrowest grout lines.

  6. 5. A detergent for removal of gum from textile surfaces and upholstered objects: just ice cubes in a plastic bag. The goal is to harden the gum for easier removal. Apply the ice cubes directly onto the gum for a few minutes and repeat the procedure if needed. When the gum hardens, it becomes much easier for wiping off via stiff spatula, with cloth or even by hand. Try to remove as much of the gum traces as possible, then apply the usual all- purpose homemade detergents to clean the left dirt if any.

  7. 6. A detergent for deodorizing almost every object: a tiny amount of your favorite essential oil(s), rubbing alcohol and shampoo. You may need to add just a tiny amount of the essential oils to the alcohol to get the expected strength of the scent, then, add a small amount of the shampoo if you plan to deodorize fabrics and other textile surfaces. To make sure that you leave completely clean surfaces without any oily traces, then blot and rinse the surfaces with just clean water after deodorizing.

  8. 7. A detergent for the large surfaces in the bathroom and the kitchen counter-top: just the juice of a lemon and white vinegar should be enough. According to how much you're mixing, you can get a strong detergent that can act as a sanitizer. The lemon juice adds a fresh scent while the vinegar will help get rid of most microorganisms.
