Meghan Clancy Texas A&M Animal Science major Howdy! I am a Sophomore Animal Science major at Texas A&M University, pursuing an undergraduate degree. I grew up in east Texas raising hogs and being very active in the FFA. Because of my passion for the livestock Industry I'm working towards receiving a certificate in Meat Science. My long term goals are to receive my masters and PhD from Iowa state and profess meat science at Texas A&M or work for the Texas Pork Producers. From the time I started showing pigs I've always had a passion for working in the animal industry. I am currently working in North Carolina at Smithfield Hog productions ( most of you have probably bought some of our bacon) as a student Intern. While back in College Station, I work for Producer Co-op which is a feed and milling company. I'm sure you all can assume I would work somewhere I can use my knowledge that makes me the most happy. On my free time I love to work with kids and spend time with family and friends. In addition, I have a passion for traveling, eating GREAT food and getting to meet new people.
