Trade Show PromotionsEarly Registration • MIMS International has some exciting alternatives to the traditional “early bird discount.” • Early Bird Promotions generate incremental revenue to trade show organizers by allowing them to get a full price for every registrant and spend only the cost of the promotion. • The basic premise is as follows: All attendees who register by the early registration deadline receive an X% rebate of their show registration fees if a predetermined event happens during the show. Below are some examples: • If the city in which the show is being held receives more than X amount of rain during the three days of the show, then all early registrants will receive a 50% rebate of their registration fee. • If a PGA golfer shoots a 59 at a PGA event the week prior to the show, all early registrants will receive a 50% rebate of their registration fee.
