  1. 7 Things I Learned from My Dad Daaaadddyyyy! This is the tune that I used to sing while getting down from the school bus. Running back to him after a full-fledged boring day at the school would feel so relaxed and soothing. His arms would feel like the safest place on this earth. My dad and I have been best friends since childhood. However, between school buses and corporate jobs, all of us grew up. Though we do not spend time now like before, I still remember the magical lessons learned from him. Below are 25 such things that my dad has taught me. Read on to find out. 1. Tell the truth or learn the hard way I couldn’t confess my love for a girl because I feared that she would reject me. When my father came to know this, he said: " Tell her the truth or better prepare yourself to see her getting married to someone else." A day later, I proposed her and now we are happily married and proud parents of adorable twins. 2. Listen to what someone has to say before opening your mouth Being a good listener is one of the most sincere forms of respect. It gives an impression that how much you respect the speaker and their thoughts.

  2. 3. The Basics are important Learning the basics are important whether it's a tough mathematical subject or client meeting for an important project. 4. Grooming is necessary Dressing smart gives you the confidence to handle things smoothly. That is why different places have different dress codes. Initially, when I joined my new office, he suggested me the dressing tips right from the coat to the underwear. He asked me to try the pouch underwear for men as they present an impressive front profile. Today, my father is 65 and he still dresses his best before leaving the house. 5. Call Mom often Mom's can irritate us in between meetings or classes calling us just to know whether we had lunch or not. However, it's not irritating guys, it's just their act of showing the love that they have for you. If the situation is

  3. not favorable to take calls at the moment, call her back later whenever free. You never know, your mom starves till the time she gets to know that you had your lunch. 6. Your career isn’t a life-sentence If you do not like what you are doing then, there is no point in continuing it. 7. You’ll never win if all you do is mop, sob, and relish in your losses. Remember Colonel Sanders( The founder of KFC)? He failed 1009 times before starting his career at the age of 65. Today whatever I’m, it is only because of him and the above life lessons that he taught me. Thank you Dad! Happy Father’s Day!
