  2. The Race • An 8-stage tour held in August 2007 • Arecurrent, top-level(2.1 UCI-labelled) internationalcycling tour • Alternating the start-finish on a yearly basis • Up to 50% Pro Tour teams • A strong Canadian and American representation

The Stages The tour consists of 8 stages in 8 days • 4 stages in Quebec • August 5: Montreal-Montreal • August 6: South shore-Châteauguay • August 7: Châteauguay –Sherbrooke • August 8: Sherbrooke-St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu • 4 stages in New England • August 9: Jay Peak-Sugar Bush • August 10: Franconia Notch-Concord • August 11: Manchester-Nashua • August 12: Boston-Boston

  4. The Teams The Montréal-Boston Tour will host 140 of the best cyclists of North America, South America and overseas. Three categories of teams will participate: Pro-Tour teams The best teams of the world are gathered in a professional circuit called the “Pro-Tour”. The Pro-Tour teams are those who participate to the best races of the world, like Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta d’Espana. National teams These teams are supported by the national federation. The best riders not involved in a trade team are selected to be part of this team. Continental teams These teams are competing on the professional American circuit. These teams represent the best American riders.

New Hampshire New Hampshire will host two full stages of the Tour with starts and finishes in the following communities: Franconia Notch (Start) August 10 Concord (Finish) August 10 Manchester (Start) August 11 Nashua (Finish) August 11 Steering committees have been established each of the 4 New Hampshire host communities Representatives from Montréal will work with each community on all race aspects including (but not limited to): volunteers, logistics, security, safety, police and media Sponsorships – State-wide, regional, local
