Will the tiger conservation benefit the life for locals? Should we lost some traditions? • To included the tiger conservation in “the 12th five-year plan”. • Media campaign to tell the future benefits for locals. • Policy research on the strategy to coordinate the tiger conservation and some concerned traditions.

How to improve GTSRP • Good practices: • Fuel material changing project • Compensation • Successful ecotourism, etc. • Key indicators: • Area extension for wild tigers • Number of wild tigers • Ecosystem improvement including forest, water and prey, etc. • Income and life change for locals and their attitude.

  4. Key Good Practices and other Actions • Key good practices: • Good patrolling and monitoring • Anti-smuggling • Compensation • Other action: • Recovery of vegetation • Increase of prey resources • New livelihood for locals
