  1. Panic Disorder Signs and Symptoms

  2. Panic Disorder Signs and Symptoms Having prolonged experiences of panic attacks may very well mean that you’re suffering from panic disorder. Panic attacks are events that happen often briefly and suddenly, although they’re almost never a one-time thing. Part of living with panic attacks is the constant fear and paranoia that it could happen again. If the attacks are left untreated or unchecked, then this leads to a development of panic disorder. Having to live with the disorder also means having to live with the fear of experiencing a panic attack all over again. The disorder also affects your ability to interact with other people. With this constant fear holding you back, you won’t be able to be as open or responsive to others as you’d want.

  3. Physical Symptoms • Palpitations • Increased heart rate and blood pressure • Difficulty breathing • Blurred vision • Chills • Hot flashes • Numbness • Dizziness or blurry vision

  4. Psychological Symptoms • Feeling of immense anxiety • Feeling of being trapped • Feeling of a loss of control • Feeling of intense dread • Instant panic • Immense fear that this will happen again As soon as any of these symptoms come to light, it’s important to seek out treatment for panic disorder immediately, before they get worse. If left untreated, then there’s no telling you might do to those close to you – or even worse, yourself.

  5. The Triggers The causes or triggers that set up panic attacks – and by extension, panic disorder – are varied and numerous. While many of these are due to external factors, the most damaging effects can usually come from the harm that comes from within. • Stress • Inner conflict • Traumatic experience • History: Sometimes, panic disorder can be passed down from parent to child and can be a running trend in the family tree. • Substance Abuse: Abusing drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes can also fuel panic attacks, especially when you're going through withdrawal.

  6. The Treatment Fortunately, there are many panic disorder treatment centers that offer professional help to get you deal with it. All of them are staffed with qualified professionals who have been trained to give you the support and guidance you need. These centers also offer you a peaceful and non-threatening environment, where you can recuperate from the disorder’s effects. You can also meet a reliable support system for your panic disorder treatment, where you’ll be with people who understand what you’re going through. Panic disorder treatment doesn't only cover the physical effects the disorder may have on you – it also aims to treat the lasting effects panic disorder leaves on your psyche. As such, the treatment aims to go a long way in healing you from any damaging effects your disorder may have given you. Don’t wait for the problem to get worse before seeking out professional help. Nipping the disorder in the bud before it grows to unmanageable proportions will really prove to do a lot of good for you in the end.
