  2. What is E-Governance? • It is the implementation of ICT. ICT stands for the information and communication technology in government agencies. The main goal of E-governance is to make the services provided by government more efficient and convenient. The use of E-Governance is to overcome the boundaries. It helps to provide better government services to the citizens.

  3. E-governance delivers SMART government. • S- Simple • M-Moral • A-Accessible • RT-Responsive Government • It is not only a website on internet but it provides the services accessible to the people through internet.

  4. E-Governance is of 4 types depending on the specific types of services:

  5. Government-to-Citizen (G2C): • Almost all of services comes under the G2C and this refers to the services that are easily accessed by the familiar people. The Goal of the government is to provide the best facilities to the citizens so the citizens can have access to the services anytime and reduce their time and cost of transaction.

  6. Government-to-business (G2B): • The Government to Business means the exchange of services between the government and business organizations. It is important for both the business and government as it provides access to relevant forms to comply.

  7. It also provides easy exchange of information between government and business organizations as the organizations have easy access to the government agencies. It plays an important role in the development of businesses and it enhances the quality of government projects.

  8. Government-to-Government (G2G): • The Government-to-Government refers to the interaction between different government department, organizations, and agencies. It can make the government processes more efficient because all the departments and agencies of government can use same databases or have access to different databases.

  9. Government-to-Employee (G2E): • It aims to keep the employees together and increase the information sharing. It provides online facilities to the employees like applying to leave ad reviews their records. It also make easy for the organizations to provide human resource training to the employees and it creates strong relationships and interactions between employees and organizations.
