15. Funding? The LMS has no budget.
Time and resources are volunteered or donated by community participants and is becoming a part of some County employee job descriptions.
We apply for numerous grants each year for the various types of projects we pursue.

16. What We Are Not! We are NOT a regulating body for development or permitting!
We are NOT a supplemental funding source for capital improvement projects!
17. Moving Into the Future We want to expand our membership and participation levels.
We want to successfully promote and implement mitigation throughout our community.
We want to continue our efforts in bringing in mitigation grant dollars, donations, and pursue a budget line item.
We want to improve our development standards to mitigate against disaster as we develop, not after the fact.
