Required Annual Meeting of Title I Parents Alabama Focus Area. Ensure that LEAs are requiring that all of their Title I schools hold their own Annual Meeting of Title I Parents to explain the requirements of the law and the rights of parents to be involved.
SDE Guidance on Required Annual Meeting of Title I Parents • Each Title I school is required to hold its own annual meeting. • An LEA meeting cannot replace each schools required Annual Meeting of Title I Parents. • Individual conferences with parents about Title I cannot replace the required Title I Meeting.
