Weight Lifting Camp Highly recommended (especially for those who want to be on Varsity) Weight lifting helps bases, back spots & flyers Works on speed, agility & strength See informational sheet for details

Tryouts August 8th – 10th 9am to Noon Time subject to change We will meet in front of the school-be ready to begin promptly at 9am!
Tryouts:Things to Know Eat a good breakfast everyday Bring water/snack What to wear? Color t-shirt by squad Plain shorts Sports bra Good Gym Shoes (Cheer Shoes!!!) No Jewelry (no body piercings) Please write your first initial & last name on the back/front of your shirt everyday

Positive Attitude Hard Work Time School Spirit Commitment What does it take to be a CG Cheerleader?
Time Cheerleaders practice every day after school usually until 5:30 1 football game a week 1-3 Basketball games a week Competitions (usually all day on Sundays) On average Cheerleaders “work” 15 hours a week More time during homecoming, pep assemblies & competitions
Costs We are working on a package deal for future cheerleaders that would include: Warm-ups (embroidered), socks, shoes, bag, bloomers, & midriffs This package would cost approximately $200 Other items throughout the season: T-shirts, sweatshirts, ribbons, Homecoming, pizza parties etc.
Fundraising We do have to fundraise from time to time Our big fundraisers this year will be a grade school cheer camp- the same week as the high school camp- Volunteers needed! All Cheerleaders will be expected to help
Things to Note All cheerleaders must turn in a copy of their current physical with their registration packet (due Aug. 3rd) Camp is Highly Recommended Help get the word out to the Grade School Girls We can’t wait until camp & our upcoming season!
