Eureka cup(EC project 16.5) 20th May • Inspired by:“Freestyle Physics” (Germany) • High school team contest (age 12-16)(200-300 participants) • Six ‘experiments’ to choose from • Enthusiastic reactions from bothstudents and teachers (& organizers) • Future:Yearly national event(regional pre-selection rounds?) 2/15

Techniek Toernooi 10th June • Primary school team contest (age 4-12)700 people (129 teams) • Each age bracket chooses:two out of a total of eight experiments • Provided by WYP2005 organization:teacher instruction, physics background • Setting: Fairy-tale park • Grants from government + Shell • Future:Yearly national event(regional pre-selection rounds?) 4/15
