  3. SARNA RELIGION • Religious leader Bandhan Tigga threatens tribal community abstention from 2024 Lok Sabha elections if the 'Sarna' code isn't included in the forthcoming census.

  4. Changing Demographics: • Tribal population in Jharkhand declined from 36% to 26% since Independence, impacting policies under Fifth and Sixth Schedules.
