_Purpose of the RPL Assessment

The primary goal of the ACS Skill Assessment is to let non-ICT candidates present their skills. It also allows you to explain how you gained the same knowledge in the Key Area of Knowledge Section in the RPL Report. You can include all your gained knowledge in an RPL Report. ACS has formed this section to allow non-ICT qualification candidates to prove their skills for the skill assessment.<br>

The RPL Assessment provides an opportunity to ICT Professionals that they are competent enough to match their Australian companions in skills and knowledge. Key Areas of Knowledge Section includes your acquired knowledge of the applicants gained over the years. You need to submit two project reports where they need to showcase how and when they used their gained skills to solve real problems. The Recognition of Prior Learning(RPL) Form has well-defined areas to help you relate various points in your career episodes with the skills ACS assessors are looking for.   3. Who can apply for RPL Skill Assessment? Candidates who can apply for RPL Skill Assessment are : 1. For candidates with insufficient ICT Knowledge, acknowledged through their respective work experience in a related field, six years of work experience is required in the related ANZSCO Code. Candidates without tertiary ICT knowledge need extra two more years of experience to understand how ICT works, and the candidates require eight years of experience. 2.
