  1. The Ribbon House, Mohali Built by RS Builders If you’ve ever been to Sector 85, Mohali, Punjab, you must have seen the Ribbon House- a glorious example of RS Builders’ superior residential construction services. Having already showcased our eminence in commercial projects, this was a refreshing experiment to convey the strong connection between the homeowner and his career trajectory as a construction contractor and civil engineer. This seamlessly flowing structure with a praiseworthy finish is the brainchild of Mr. Ravijeet Singh- the founder of RS Builders. Long ago, when this beautiful home was just a concept in our mind, we knew we wanted to leverage the best materials and processes to bring the vision to life. We hired a local design agency to assist us in laying out the plans so we could start the integral execution process. The exterior of the house is wrapped in curved concrete ribbons merging into each other to create a seamless flow that appeases the onlookers. If you give it a closer look, the curves reflect light differently at different peaks symbolising the variable yet unidirectional flow of time and its passage in life. Most builders in Mohali won’t be able to match the finesse reflected in the work of RS Builders.

  2. The arches are built to both capture sunlight for the rooms and provide shade for the open spaces. Anyone familiar with the building industry would know it's pretty simple to elevate the design of any building by adding a curvature in its design, but implementing that design to actually construct the curves, is a task that requires precision and skills. Here at RS Builders, we made sure every element of our structure is functional and adequately supported internally. The

  3. monochrome grey outlook with a smooth concrete finish was a conscious choice to express the brilliant but rooted persona of the homeowner. The interiors of the house are also put together to reflect the civil engineering background of the homeowner by keeping the designs focused on construction innovation. From the abstract etching on the walls to the statement flight of stairs, everything evokes inspiration. The structure also leverages brilliant use of lighting to add character and nuance to this residential construction project. Illuminating the home theatre, you can see a contemporary flowing lighting structure integrated into the wall with all its angled grace that resonates with the facade. The entire home is tied together with a unifying theme of waves and curves. The interiors of the house are constructed to uplift concrete and its texture in various forms. All in all, The Ribbon House in Mohali, Punjab, was built by RS Builders as a tribute to the homeowner’s long-standing relationship with construction and to reflect his journey from an engineer to a sought-after name in the building business. We think the team succeeded in paying homage.
