ADMISSION PROCEDURE Students seeking admission in RIS must apply on the prescribed form, which is available at the School on all working days between 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. It is also available online at www.rameeshinstitutions.org The application should be accompanied by the following documents: I Birth Certificate II Transfer Certificate from previous School (for class I and above) III Medical certificate IV Photocopy of Previous Year's Report Card V Proof of SC/ST, if applicable Students for class I onwards are selected on the basis of tests and interviews. The decision of the School Authorities will be final. Admission will be final only after payment of all the dues. PROMOTION CRITERIA 1. Promotion is granted to the student on the basis of continuous and comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) as per the guidelines of C.B.S.E. 2. In order to qualify for the promotion to the next class, 40% marks in each subject and aggregate for the year must be obtained. 3. The grading of examination results will be done as per the policy of C.B.S.E. 4. Results declared at the end of the academic year are final. No School leaving certificate will be issued unless all School dues are paid, and library books and School properties are returned. SCHOLARSHIPS/FEE CONCESSION Scholarships and fee concession are granted to toppers in each class as well as to meritorious and economical weak students. FEESTRUCTURE The fee structure is kept reasonable and commensurate with the infrastructural facilities and quality of education provided in the School. 1. School fee is collected in advance on a quarterly basis (April, July, October, January). 2. Payments are acceptable in cheque or bank draft only at the Accounts Office. 3. Last date of payment of fees for each quarter is as under: (a) 1st quarter :10 April (b) 2nd quarter : 10 July (c) 3rd quarter : 10 October (d) 4th quarter : 10 January 4. Annual composite fees are to be paid in April along with the fees of the first quarter. 5. After 10th of each quarter, payment along with late fee will be accepted. Late fee of Rs. l5/- per day will be charged. 6. If fees is not deposited within one month of due date, the admission shall be cancelled and re- admission will have to be taken. 7. School fees is to be paid in full, part payment is not accepted. 8. Parents are requested to keep the fee slip in safe custody and produce it as and when required by the School as proof of payment. 9. Fees paid at the time of admission or during the year will not be refunded. ATTENDANCE 1. It is compulsory for the students to complete 80% of their attendance in the year to make them eligible to sit for their final examination. 2. Students who have been sick for three days or more should submit a medical certificate from a registered doctor on joining the School. 3. One who has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class with a letter from the parent, addressed to the Principal, stating the reason for the absence. 4. Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than ten consecutive days renders the student liable to have his name struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted only on payment of admission fees. 3

Shikha Singh Principal GENESIS Ram-Eesh International School (RIS) was established under the aegis of Rama-Eesh Charitable Trust in Greater Noida on 9th August, 2000. The School is an integral part of group of educational Institutions comprising an International School, an Institute of Education, an Institute of Vocational and Technical Education and an Institute of Engineering & Technology. The Ram-Eesh Institute of Education is providing two years B.Ed. course affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut; the Ram-Eesh Institute of Vocational and Technical Education is providing B. Pharm. and D. Pharm. courses affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow and BTE respectively; and the Ram-Eesh Institute of Engineering & Technology is providing Diploma in Engineering affiliated to BTE, Lucknow. The campus spreads over 14 acres of land full of greenery and in a pollution free environment on 3, Knowledge Park-I, Greater Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar. It is on the outskirts of Delhi and is part of the National Capital Region, about 25 kilometers from East Delhi and about 40 kilometers from Connaught Place. The Management Committee of the School comprises of nationally and internationally known educationists and management experts. It is being supervised personally by the Chairman who is an internationally known educationist and was a Senior Advisor to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) for over two decades. PROGRAMME AND AFFILIATION The School provides a rigorous academic programme from Nursery to Class XII and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. PARENT TEACHERS MEETING Parent-teachers meetings are organized regularly aimed at helping the student improve his/her performance. However, parents can also meet the teachers after prior appointment to discuss their ward's progress. TRANSPORTATION Transportation of day students on fixed routes is provided on reasonable charges. The details of the bus routes are available at the time of admission. Students using School transport should use it both ways. The bus facility is provided for the entire academic year. Transport charges should be deposited on a quarterly basis along with the tuition fees. The School will not be held responsible legally or financially for any injury or accident of the child during transportation. No refund will be made if the use of the School transport is discontinued in the middle of the quarter. MEDICAL FACILITIES A qualified nurse is available during school hours for physical check-up and first aid. The School is empaneled with Kailash Hospital and Sharda Hospital for emergencies. ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS The awareness that the protection of the environment is of prime importance is reinforced regularly to the students through campaigns and various competitions. Trees are planted in the campus and taken care of by the students. The School also sets an example in the area of environmental protection. CLASSROOMS Spacious well ventilated and well lit classrooms with comfortable furniture as per the age of the students have been provided. Interactive Boards in the classroom enable a more effective teaching and learning process. Students' charts, views, drawings, etc are displayed on the classroom notice boards. 4
LABORATORIES The School has well equipped Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Language and Computer Laboratories. The students are able to develop practical skills of each subject and also display their understanding further by preparing working models, practicals and projects. 5
GEOGRAPHY LAB Geography lab plays a pivotal role in enriching geographical base of the students. Learning of geography involves lot of practical knowledge. The lab at School is equipped with modern geographical apparatuses, maps and models which provide ample opportunities for the students to observe and learn the concepts and facts easily. LIBRARY There are separate libraries for the primary and secondary sections. The library has a rich collection of over 10,000 books and is fully computerized. A wide range of magazines and journals give the students knowledge of the latest developments in various fields. 6
E-LEARNING The School believes in keeping abreast with the latest technological developments. There are separate labs for the junior and senior classes. To clarify and reinforce subject concept learning, the students are shown JIL capsule visuals. The students also have an opportunity to enhance their language skills in the language lab. HOBBY CLUBS The students are given a platform in the form of hobby clubs to develop and display their talents. They are able to pursue their hobbies and achieve their highest potential. SPORTS Due importance is given to games and sports which are compulsory for all students. Provision is made for a variety of games and sports in the campus, such as cricket, hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, throw ball, table tennis, badminton, lawn tennis, aerobics, gymnastics, marshal arts, taekwondo, meditation and yoga, athletics, skating, etc. HOUSE SYSTEM The students are divided into five houses Aakash, Agni, Prithvi, Neer and Vayu, which are headed by Captains and Vice Captains who take their guidance from the House Teachers. Inter House Competitions are organised in various cultural and co-curricular activities. This system fosters a spirit of co-operation and healthy competition. Aakash house with its bluecolor symbolises the vast endless sky, inviting each one to soar high. Agni house with its redcolor produces energy. Prithvi house with its green colour asks each one to preserve the rich bounties of nature. The yellow color of Vayu house directs each one towards wisdom and intelligence and the aqua (greenish-blue) colour of Neer inspires tireless fluidity of freshness. 9
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES Students are encouraged to take part in a wide variety of cultural activities which take place on a regular basis in various school functions. The students are taught to excel and perfect the art of dance presentation and performance. “ “ “ Cultural Diversity Brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity. ” ” -Robert Alan CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION The name of a student may be removed from the rolls if: • He/she gives a written request, endorsed by his/her parent/guardian. • He/she is absent without permission for ten consecutive days. • He/she has irregular attendance and poor progress in studies. • Non-payment of tuition fees/dues for one month. • Breaking of rules and regulations. The decision of the administration shall be considered final. 10
