Our Program 9th Grade Support Small School Experience Annual High School Retreat Clubs ASB, Robotics, Green Club, Roots and Shoots, JSA, MUN, and other activities College Prep Supports students in meeting and surpassing 4 year college entrance requirements. Senior Project Opportunity to learn and use creativity, planning skills, and communication skills to design and develop a project they are passionate about.
Our Program Continue 7 by 7 Course Structure • Humanities/English* • Math • Science • History* • French • Fine Arts • PE *Two year loops in 9th/10th grades in Humanities and World History AP class options in all subjects
IS Students: • Are challenged and supported • Are exposed to curriculum that focuses on: *Mastery *Depth of knowledge *Collaboration/Integration • Have choices via: *Student led projects in class *Community *Focus Week *11th and 12th grade Science and Math *Senior Project
High School Athletics • IS Students are eligible to try out for/participate in athletics at their “home high school.” Many fall sports begin August 26th. Coaches welcome IS Students. About 35-75% play high school sports. • Register using FinalForms • Complete physical • imPACT test • BE PROACTIVE!
