1. Making Sure You Protect Yourself While Shooting Soldiers, military personnel and the armed forces all know that shooting under pressure can cause, at times, undue stress. One way for precision shooters is to add protection to their rifle to help ensure the rifle is protected from the effects of distortion – such as by mirage (displaced images of objects at distance) – which will cause the shooter to miss. Therefore, to aid the shooter not to feel the effects of mirage as the suppressor warms up during repeated firing, suppressor wraps are used on the suppressor.
