Help Support a Tree Nursery at Sega Girls Schoolin Tanzania, East Africa Gerard Hertel, Stewardship Manager, Gordon Natural Area (West Chester University of PA) does forest health research near Morogoro , Tanzania and is helping the SEGA School raise money for a tree nursery. $6,000 is needed to start the nursery. The school will use these funds to engage students in raising 10,000 tree seedlings for planting around the school grounds and neighboring areas. The Sega Girls School provides a safe haven and quality education to vulnerable girls who otherwise would not get the chance to go to secondary school. In addition to academic and life skills, the school aims to instill a respect for the natural environment and includes a permaculture gardening program.
