  3. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • B. Esta palabra se usa muchas veces en la Biblia, con aplicación a muchas cosas. • B. This word is used many times in the Bible, with application to many things.

  4. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Job 1:21, 22. Job no “atribuyó a Dios despropósito (acción sin pensar) alguno”. Nunca obra fuera de razón. • Job 1:21, 22. Job did not accuse God of acting without reason. God never acts without reason (purpose).

  5. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Job 2:9, 10, “¡Has hablado como hablaría cualquiera de las mujeres insensatas!” Como si no tuviera mente. No estar en su juicio cabal, loca. Es palabra fuerte. • Job 2:9, 10, “"You speak as one of the foolish women speaks.” As if you didn’t have a mind. Not being in her right mind, crazy. It’s a strong word.

Rom. 1:20, sólo ver y saber. • Psalm 14:1, “The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." He speaks as if he did not have a mind. Doesn’t think. Doesn’t reason. Rom. 1:20, just look and know.

A-phron, sin mente. • Prov. 9:13-18, the woman who does not protect her purity does not use her head, does not think. 1 Cor. 6:18-20. A-phron, without a mind.

Use your Mind • Sal. 32:8, 9, “Te enseñaré el camino… No seáis sin entendimiento, como el caballo, o como el mulo, cuya boca ha de ser frenada con rienda y freno; de otro modo, no se acercan a ti.” • Psalm 32:8, 9, “I will teach you the way… Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.”

Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?” 1 Sam. 16:7; 1 Kings 8:39; Heb. 4:13.

Descansa, come, bebe, alégrate.“ • Luke 12:19, “And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry."

(a-phron) Esta noche vienen a pedir tu alma; y lo que has provisto, ¿para quién será?’" • Luke 12:20, “But God said to him, 'Fool! (a-phron) This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?‘”

  14. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Avaricia=idolatría (Col. 3:5). Trabajo o nego-cio es su VIDA… Salvar el alma no es primero. A-phron, sin mente; insensatez, locura, enajenación mental. • Covetousness = idolatry (Col. 3:5). Work or business is his LIFE… Saving the soul is not first. A-phron, without a mind; foolish, crazy, out of his mind .

Use your Mind • Efes. 5:15-17, “tened cuidado cómo andáis; no como insensatos, sino como sabio… no seáis insensatos, sino comprended cuál es la voluntad del Señor. • Eph. 5:15-17, “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise… do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

  16. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Efes. 3:3, 4, “lo he escrito… leyéndolo, podréis entender cuál es mi comprensión en el misterio de Cristo”. • Eph. 3:3, 4, “I have written… when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.”

  17. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Si no entendemos la palabra de Dios, es culpa nuestra. Somos voluntaria-mente a-phrones… Rehusamos usar la mente (inteligencia) que Dios nos da. • If we do not understand the word of God, it’s our fault. We are voluntarily a-phrones… We refuse to use the mind (intelligence) that God gives us.

  18. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • El insensato es guiado por opiniones, el prejuicio, los sentimientos y esto produce la ignorancia de la palabra de Dios. No usa su cabeza. No aprende la Biblia misma. • The fool is guided by opinions, preju-dice, sentiments, and this produces ignorance of the word of God. He does not use his head. He does not learn the Bible itself.

  19. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • 2 Ped. 2:12 y Judas 10 hablan de aquellos que son como “animales irracionales” que serán destruidos. • 2 Pet. 2:12 and Jude 10 speak of those who are like “irrational beasts” that will be destroyed.

  20. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • 1 Ped. 2:15, “ésta es la voluntad de Dios: que haciendo el bien hagáis callar la ignorancia de los hombres insensatos”. • 1 Pet. 2:15, “this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.”

Use your Mind • Nehemías 8:12, “Así todo el pueblo se fue a… regocijarse con gran alegría, porque habían entendido las palabras que les habían enseñado”. • Nehemiah 8:12, “And all the people went their way to… rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.”

  22. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Hech. 8:39, “Cuando subieron del agua… el eunuco… seguía su camino gozoso” por haber entendido y obedecido al evangelio. El entendimiento produce mucho gozo. • Acts 8:39, “When they came up out of the water… the eunuch went on his way rejoicing, for having understood and obeyed the gospel. Understanding produces much joy.

  23. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Por eso, aprovechar todo servicio y clase bíblica de la iglesia y “¡use la cabeza!” Escuchar. Aprender. Crecer. • Therefore, take advantage of every service and Bible class of the church and “use your head!” Listen. Learn. Grow.

  24. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Aprovechar estudios impresos: un buen diccionario (Larousse), diccionarios bíblicos (Vila-Escuain; W. E. Vine), escritos de hnos. Reeves, Partain, Waldron, otros.… • Make the most of printed studies: a good dictionary (Larousse), Bible dictionaries (Vila-Escuain; W. E. Vine), writings of Reeves, Partain, Waldron, others…

  25. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Conclusión: A. Isa. 1:18, “Venid, pues, dice Jehovah; y razonemos juntos: Aunque vuestros pecados sean como la grana, como la nieve serán emblanquecidos. Aunque sean rojos como el carmesí, vendrán a ser como blanca lana”. • Conclusion: A. Isa. 1:18, “" Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”

  26. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • B. Mat. 7:24-28, “todo el que me oye estas palabras y no las hace, será semejante a un hombre insensato que edificó su casa sobre la arena”. • B. Matt. 7:24-28, “everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.”

  27. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • Otra palabra fuerte: Según W. E. Vine, “morós, obtuso, lento, estúpido, ignorante, insensato”. Es la palabra que JESÚS usa para hablar de los desobedientes. • Another strong word: According to W. E. Vine, “morós, obtuse, slow, stupid, ignorant, foolish.” It is the word that JESUS uses to speak of the disobedient.

  28. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • C. Rom. 12:1, “que presentéis vuestros cuerpos como sacrificio vivo, santo y agradable a Dios, que es vuestro servicio (de culto) razonable”. • C. Rom. 12:1, “present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable (worship) service.”

  29. ¡Piense! Use la Mente – Think! Use your Mind • D. La desobediencia no es razonable. El no adorar y servir a Dios no es razonable. La vida mundana no es razonable. El no preparar para el juicio final no es razonable. • D. Disobedience is not reasonable. Not worshipping and serving God is not reasonable. The worldly life is not reason-able. Not preparing for the final judgment is not reasonable.
