(Isa. 35:8). • The religion of Jesus is called “the Way,” Acts 9:2; 22:4; 24:14. It is the only way that takes us to heaven. (Isa. 35:8).

No que hubieran nacido así, sino que culti-varon esa naturaleza por su desobediencia. • What is the meaning of “by nature children of wrath”? Not that they were born that way, but rather they cultivated that nature by their disobedience.

Esto es andar en tinieblas, v. 18,19. • Eph. 4:17, We no longer walk as those who “walk in the futility of their mind.” This is to walk in darkness, v. 18, 19.

For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and walking like mere men?” (This is not walking in light but in darkness).

Más bien, activamente oponerse a ellas y denunciarlas y reprenderlas. • Not only not practice them… do not approve (go along with) such works. But rather, actively oppose them and denounce and reprove them.

  38. El Andar de los Efesios The Walk of the Ephesians • V. 13, “todas las cosas se hacen visibles cuando son expuestas por la luz, pues todo lo que se hace visible es luz”. Luz = buen ejemplo y enseñanza de la palabra de Dios. • V. 13, “all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.” Light = good example and the teaching of the word of God.

  39. El Andar de los Efesios The Walk of the Ephesians • Somos responsables de exponer el pecado para que se vea como es en realidad. Pren-demos la luz de la palabra de Dios. • We are responsible for exposing sin for what it really is. We turn on the light of God’s word.

Efes. 4:1, “os exhorto a que andéiscomo es digno del llamamiento con que fuisteis llamados…” (Llamados a ser santos, 1 Cor. 1:2). • Eph. 4:1, “I beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called…” (Called to be saints, 1 Cor. 1:2).

Y qué es lo que demanda el Señor de ti, sino sólo practicar la justicia, amar la misericordia, y andar humildemente con tu Dios? • Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”

Camino angosto, estrecho • Indispensable we be careful in traffic… Use map when travel, watch road signs… Much danger… Soldiers (mines, traps). Way is narrow and difficult.

  47. El Andar de los Efesios The Walk of the Ephesians • V. 16, “aprovechando el tiempo porque los días son malos”. No malgastar tiempo, tiempo es corto, precioso. 1 Cor. 7:29. • V. 16, “redeeming the time because the days are evil.” Not waste time, time is short, precious, 1 Cor. 7:29.
