In the 2014-2015 academic year, Amor de Dios de Burlada School opted for innovation, initiating a pioneering project in Navarra and becoming the first educational center that applies Music Therapy in a school context. Even today, in the school year 2017/2018, they continue to carry it out and it is thanks to their good results.

In the 2014-2015 academic year, Amor de Dios de Burlada School opted for innovation, initiating a pioneering project in Navarra and becoming the first educational center that applies Music Therapy in a school context. Even today, in the school year 2017/2018, they continue to carry it out and it is thanks to their good results. The full name of the project is: Music therapy as an educational novelty: Music therapy practice to stimulate and improve the motor, cognitive, social and emotional development of children. The project was decided to be carried out bearing in mind that: Music therapy has a great benefit for the integral development of the child. It is a discipline of detection, prevention and intervention, of deficiencies that children may have (motor incoordination, alterations in language, maturational delays, emotional problems, relationship, behavior, and even a slight mental retardation ...) It is an educational tool that complements and integrates the work of different professionals (Tutor / as, UAE and Music Therapist) with the participating student and their respective families, aimed at an educational response to the good of the higher quality student.
