  2. What the redevelopers had to work with! Many features have been preserved Before the work begins

  3. The building was abandoned 25 years ago! The ground floor once was a furniture warehouse The upper floor apartments were derelict except for a conveyor belt to second floor for additional storage.

  4. A brave entrepreneur is invited to open a ladies vintage clothing store. Painted in peacock blues by local artist Lynda Wesley Work starts on the murals

  5. The finished 1st floor Ready for business, but the upper floors still need a little work...

  6. The 2nd and 3rd floors were gutted to the walls Debris waiting to be hauled away Plaster lath has to be removed Tons of plaster and lath were hauled away. The original stairwell skylights were preserved and made part of the interior of the top floor units. Plaster has to be stripped Reconfigured walls, plumbing, wiring and modern heating and cooling are installed. New studs and walls are added Classic skylight saved This will become a bathroom between two bedrooms

  7. The result is worth the effort The preserved skylight 14 foot ceiling and 18th century roof trusses Bathroom connecting 2 bedrooms
