A touch probe is a device that consists of a stylus tip connected to an electronic sensing system. The stylus tip sits at the end of an arm that is mounted on the CNC machineu2019s table or cutting head. When the stylus tip comes into contact with the material being machined, it sends an electrical signal back to the sensing system, which then records the position of the point where contact was made.
