  2. WHAT IS CERVICAL CANCER? Cervicalcancerisaformofcancerthataffectsthecellsofthecervix, thelowerpart thatconnectswiththevagina. Whenhealthycellsonthecervixbecome infectedorlosetheirviability, cervicalcanceroccurs. Thetumorisamassofuncontrolled cellsthathasbeencausedbyHPVinfection.
