  2. Using the regular screwdriver or spudger, simply pop out the existing puddle light. Be careful not to scratch your door panel when removing the light. Also, some of the internal cables can be quite short so be careful to make sure your cable doesn't go inside the door as you'll have a hard time getting it out. About Before you pop the new puddle light all the way in, let's take a moment to ensure the projector is the direction you want it. The way to do this is to press the light PARTIALLY into the door - about half way. This will show us what the final product will look like but also allow us to easily pop the light out should we need to change the direction of the projection.
