Discontinue Asthalin Rotacaps (Albuterol Sulphate Rotacaps) immediately and treat with alternative therapy. Need for more doses of Asthalin Rotacaps than usual may be a sign of deterioration of asthma and requires reevaluation of treatment. Asthalin Rotacaps is not a substitute for corticosteroids. Cardiovascular effects may occur. Use with caution in patients sensitive to sympathomimetic drugs and patients with cardiovascular or convulsive disorders. Excessive use may be fatal. Asthalin Rotacaps (Generic Albuterol Sulphate Rotacaps) Overdosage The expected signs and symptoms with overdosage of Asthalin Rotacaps (Albuterol Sulphate) are those of excessive beta-adrenergic stimulation and/or occurrence or exaggeration of any of the signs and symptoms of beta-adrenergic stimulation (e.g., seizures, angina, hypertension or hypotension, tachycardia with rates up to 200 beats/min, arrhythmias, nervousness, headache, tremor, muscle cramps, dry mouth, palpitation, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, malaise, insomnia, hyperglycemia, hypokalemia, metabolic acidosis). 17. Asthalin Rotacaps (Generic Albuterol Sulphate Rotacaps) Asthalin Rotacaps During Pregnancy Albuterol Sulphate (Asthalin Rotacaps) has been classified by the US FDA as Pregnancy Category C. Administration of Asthalin Rotacaps (Albuterol Sulphate Rotacaps) during pregnancy should only be considered if the expected benefit to the mother is greater than any possible risk to the foetus. As with the majority of drugs, there is little published evidence of the safety of salbutamol in the early stages of human pregnancy, but in animal studies there was evidence of some harmful effects on the fetus at very high dose levels. There are no well-controlled human trials that have investigated effects of Salbutamol (Albuterol) on preterm labor or labor at term. Because of the potential for beta-agonist interference with uterine contractility, use of Asthalin Rotacaps during labor should be restricted to those patients in whom the benefits clearly outweigh the risk.
