SERMON SPOTLIGHT • The words of the LORD through Zechariah were meant to quiet the troubled hearts and strengthen the wounded spirits of the people in their work of rebuilding the temple.
SERMON SPOTLIGHT • The church is also living in dark and troublesome times. The church needs the encouragement and strengthening that comes from the “crying out” of the message of God given in the Bible.

WHAT ZECHARIAH SAW 1:9 • Zechariah observed an attending angel who was apparently in the grove with the horsemen, but probably not one of the horsemen.

WHAT THE ANGEL ASKED THE LORD 1:12 • The attending angel asked the LORD to explain why was Jerusalem and the cities of Judah still in shambles, seeing that the 70 years of God’s discipline upon Israel had been completed.
