  3. Aviation NZ was created because: • Peet 2007 study showed primarily small, private NZ owned companies • 70% of coys established for 11 years or more • Diverse capabilities in abundance • Exports nearing NZ$800m • New Zealand needs to do different things in different ways

  4. Aviation NZ role • Introducing customers to New Zealand aviation solutions • One stop shop for international companies wanting to do aviation business with New Zealand • Encourages scale through collaboration • Promotes the brand, New Zealand products and services

  5. Pacific Relationships • Traditional relationships • ASPA Conference in Fiji • Outcomes include training, booking systems and MRO • Important we learn more about providing solutions, not just products and services • The aim today is to build relationships
