Change – applying a constant value to replace Select curve> Identify start and end points
Manually draw in a curve; linearly interpolated Multiply log values over a specified interval by a value
Replacing values with the average 1st click and hold Drag over values Release to mark first point Mark end of this int and successive ints by
1st click and hold Drag over values Release to mark first point Mark end of this int and successive ints by a horizontral green line
Insert a constant value Multicurve then insert from the edit menu Specify a starting point This will shift the curve down Have user specified value, interpolate or null
Remove log data from a specified interval Shift start depth Edit > Multicurve > ShiftData is either shifted up or replaced with nulls. Shift down (+) up (-)
Edit > formation tops Click in KB cell then click the top location from one of your logs. Click and refresh to display new top picks
Edit > Curve Header, Define Curve and Create Lithology Strip
Curve mnemonic by default Change curve label to SONIC WET
As a footnote: when generating AVO synthetics, the foregoing comes in handy. Edit > Curve Header Select PR Edit Label/Type Define curve category as Poisson Ratio OK
When first reformatted Curve params read Define curves dialog are based on options sleeted in the well editor preferences dialog Edit > Curve Header Select SFL > Define curves
Select SFL > in userdefined list Change curve label to Spherically Focused Resistivity > Append
Append adds the label to the user defined curves list OK to exit > close edit curve header panel

Redefine curve mnemonic> add spherically focused resistivity to the user defined curves list
Create lithology Strip View > Track paramters Select all 4 tracks (click and Shft Click Change track width and Gap width Apply Select all 4 tracks
Change curve label and click in the area between tracks to insert your lithology curve > Insert here Edit > Lithology Track
Click on the Course Lith track and click on the top to auto fill the start depth. Do the same for the base (end depth). Use scroll bar to select patterns and apply to fill lith track with color. The proceed as before clicking in the start and end depths and lithology patterns
Generic curve fills only need to be defined once and are defined in all wells displayed in cross section Zoom all to fit curves to window
View > select curves Note more than one curve per track OK to display
Well Specific Well Editor > Open well > Select well > OK Zoom all > View > Select Curves From select curves to display dialog
