LEONARDO DA VINCI • Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the greatest artists of the Renaissence • Leonardo was born in 1452 in Vinci,Florence • His talent was first recognised by his father when he painted a remarkable monster on a piece of wood. • Leonardo had many talents such as sculpting,philosphy,science yet he was most famous for his paintings.
Leonardo had many famous Patrons but the best known ones would be Lorenzo di Medici and Ludovico Sforza. • Leonardo painted a lot of paintings some are hardly known of while others are under 24-hour protection.
Leonardo was taught to paint by Andrea del Verrochio. • His first real painting was one of an angel in the corner of one of Verrochio’s paintings Verrochio taught Leonardo was such a good artist that he stopped painting for ever.
THE MONA LISA • The Mona Lisa is one of Leonardo’s most famous paintings .It is a painting of the wife of Francesco del Giocondo
THE LAST SUPPER • The Last Supper is a painting done on a wall in Santa Maria DelleGrazie.It was flaked badly as Leonardo used a paint mixed with water. Later the monks cut a hole through the bottom of it
ST JOHN IN THE WILDERNESS • This is a painting based on something similiar to Leonardo da Vinci’s.
Technique of Da Vinci • In the Mona Lisa Da Vinci is showing humanism in the way that there is nothing special about person except that it is of the governers wife • You can also see his likeliness of shade as under her neck you can see it is dark and like a shadow. • In the Last Supper Da Vinci is going back to religious events.

DEATH • Leonardo da Vinci’s amazing life finally ended while he was in France.
