SIS – The point of “truth” • Region/County/District/Type/School (RCDTS) • Home School • Testing School • Serving School • The IAA student population offers some unique challenges when it comes to managing their RCDTS codes. • Nearly all ISAT students test at their “Home School” • Most IAA students test outside their “Home School”
SIS Material Distribution On-line Scoring Site Successful Administration
The goal is to get the test materials to the teachers as quickly as possible. • Teachers prepare material to administer IAA test • Additional orders process • Test security • Test form management • Same logic applies to the on-line scoring
Your RCDTS Codeand what is it . . . . . . Your RCDTS Code is a 15-digit code that is assigned by ISBE, that identifies your district and school. The entire 15-digits are necessary! 2-Digits, Region 4-Digits, District 4-Digits, School 01-234-5678-90-1234 3-Digits, County 2-Digits, Type

Solution… …the student’s Testing RCDTS Code needs to reflect where that student will physically be located during the test administration. Only the student’s Home District can make updates to SIS.
Key Dates • December 2008 – SIS updates should be complete • Including test type (IAA, ISAT, PSAE) • January 2009 Pre-Id file sent to Pearson • January/February 2009 – Regional Training for IAA • February 2009 – IAA test materials distributed • February 2009 – IAA on-line scoring site populated • March 2009 – IAA Test Administration
