The Church Life Profile Workbook • The Workbook is structured so you can either: • Work through your Profile page by page or • Engage one set of data very effectively The Workbook is designed for: • An individual to reflect on the church’s results and form recommendations • A team to engage and discuss pertinent results and plan ahead • A group to engage specific data and set directions • Leadership to devise sound planning processes for their church
Engaging the Summary Review of your Profile Pages 8 -11 engage the Summary Review of your Profile Each page is divided into four sections that Point you to one page of your Profile Help you examine the data on that particular page Guide your reflection and discussion on that data Invite you to note down next steps
Writing a Report of your Profile If you have been asked to write a report on your church’s Profile for the leadership team, the congregation, etc. then pages 12 & 26 provide templates and processes to assist.
Engaging the Core Qualities in your Profile Pages 14 – 19 outline processes to engage your Core Qualities data either cursorily or very deeply. There is also a brief process to assist in making concrete plans to further develop these qualities in the church. A full page has been allocated for notes and next steps.
The steps to engage the Core Qualities • Choose one Core Quality to explore in depth • Look at it in the context of its Core Quality set • Examine what your attenders say about it • Interact with the results in 1, 2, 3 or 4 different ways • Engage in specific planning and writing next step notes
