  4. 1) Baptism doesn’t save us, faithdoes. 2) Baptism is critically important Romans 6:4- The symbolism of baptism is deathand resurrection Illustration: Baptism is to faiththe way marriage is to genuine love

  5. 3) We baptize by immersion Biblical examples, the symbolism of death, and the meaning of the word “baptizo” in the Greek all point this direction

  6. 4) We baptize those who have made a conscious commitmentto follow Christ. It is a witness to their faith.

  7. Conclusion: Baptism is a cause for great celebration in the Church of Jesus Christ! How about you? Do you need to be baptized?
