  4. 1.1. Vision Statement • To become a globally competitive country in the promotion, acquisition, protection, and commercialisation of creations and innovations for development

Mission Statements • Stimulate and foster creative, innovative and inventive culture among Tanzanians • Transform Tanzania into a country with a high level of IP awareness and IP knowledge • Develop sustainable capacities to enable Tanzania to use IP as a vehicle for building competitive economy through the creation, innovation/inventions, utilization, acquiring, and protection of IP • Use IP to build a prosperous Tanzanian society in all respects • Inculcate business competitiveness through strategic use of IP tools: branding, trade marks, etc.
