Background • Primary Objective • Identify hurdles to developing single- and multi-customer microgrids (incl. community microgrids) in New York State • Secondary Objective • Identify opportunities (regulatory, technical, etc) to streamline development of microgrids • Identify pro/cons where applicable • Objective IS NOT to reach consensus
Deliverable • Presentation • Purpose is to inform PSC and Staff • Will take the form of a bulletized slideshow • Each subgroup will contribute • Final product due Tuesday July 1st • Presented to the PSC on Thursday July 10th
Process • Subgroups focused on specific topic areas • Will meet independently of the larger group • Establish objectives • Identify issues • Identify potential solutions and pros/cons of each • Report back to main group during regular weekly calls
