Corruption Survey -9 Dec’2018 • Survey on corruption with the general public by volunteers • Five simple questions using face to face interview and uploaded on line using an “APP”. • Done concurrently in all 13 states in Malaysia. • 22,145 responses within 5 hours
Key Findings (Results Released by MACC on 11 Dec’2018) • Respondents: 48% 52% • 82% feel that the level of corruption in Malaysia is serious • 74% have indicated to have high confidence level in the Anti Corruption Agency (MACC) • 8% indicated that they were involved in corruption and bribery (66% & 34% ) • 10% indicated that if there was power & opportunity they will get involved in corruption & bribery.
