International Olympic Committee • The committee breached regulations on international ticket sales • Allegations surfaced that Olympic officials were controlling tickets for 54 countries breaching regulations on ticket sales. • The tickets weren’t correctly distributed to countries. • Tickets were sold on the black market. • Thousands of people were left empty after they applied for tickets • It caused bad publicity for the event

How it could’ve been avoided • The website could’ve been better (Ticketmaster) prepared for the amount of ticket sales. • The tickets could have been cheaper as well as the ballot system being much improved. • The customer experience was negatively affected by the ticket fiasco, which should have been avoided.
