CHAPTER 9International Business Plan Event • Purpose • The International Business Plan Event provides an opportunity to apply marketing skills in an international setting. • You will prepare a written proposal for a new business venture (a new business or new product or service of an existing business) for a foreign country.
CHAPTER 9International Business Plan Event • Scenario • This project will be completed by one to three team members. • Participants will choose a product or service to introduce to a foreign country. • Each individual or team must conduct thorough research to determine the trade area, economics, culture, and political climate of the chosen country. CHAPTER 9International Business Plan Event • Description • After you have determined the best international market for your product or service, you must persuade an international banker (judge) to grant the loan needed for your business idea. • This project consists of a written document and the oral presentation.
