A Brief Introduction to the Writer Katherine Mansfield's Lifetime: • Katherine Mansfield Murry(14 October 1888 – 9January 1923) • was a prominent modernistwriter of shortfiction • was born and brought up in colonial NewZealand • wrote under the pen name of Katherine Mansfield. • moved to London in 1903 • met and married John Middleton Murry, a well-known critic.

To the man, Vera just can make his life more interesting. He will not marry Vera and live together with Vera for the whole life.

28. Appreciation of paragraph 2 This article is very attractive. Today, I’d like to appreciate the second paragraph from three aspects.

He closed his eyes an instant, but opening them his face lit up as though he had struck a match in a dark room.
