  1. Nudge Bar or Bull Bar Which One is Right for Your Ute If you own a ute or are even thinking about purchasing a ute, then one thing that might cross your mind is whether to get a nudge bar or a bull bar on the front of it. We have put together a handy guide to help that decision a little bit easier. Aesthetics When it comes to aesthetics or overall looks of your ute it’s a tricky one. Ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers. It really depends on the look you’re going for. If you’re putting together more of an inner city work/show ute than sure a nudge bar can definitely give it that little bit extra bling. If you’re putting together a BNS ute or live out in the country than you may be more inclined to think that a bull bar is the better option. Practicality When it comes to practicality, again it really depends on the main use of your vehicle as well as where you drive. If you never leave the city than there really is very little reason to need a bull bar. Bull bars can even become more of a nuisance when parking in the city. A nudge bar does still give you plenty of versatility when it comes to ute accessories. You will still have the options of mounting spot lights, UHF antenna, fishing rod holders and even an H-rack. However, if four-wheel driving is something you do on a regular or even semi-regular basis than the bull bar is definitely more practical and does give you a lot more options. Durability This one is a bit of a no brainer. When it comes to which one is more durable, or rather will protect both you and your vehicle more. It’s hands down the bull bar. The bull bar will protect you more against collisions with animals, cars and even to a lesser degree stones and tree branches.

  2. Nudge bars really don’t protect you from all that much. They will save your bumper from getting damaged in minor collisions such as people reversing in to you in the car- park. When it comes to hitting a kangaroo, a nudge bar will most definitely not protect your vehicle. In all cases where there will be any driving on country roads or there is a chance of animals jumping out on the road, we would most definitely recommend that you look in to the option of a bull bar. Hopefully this has helped make that decision easier. If you’re wanting to check out ute accessories online such as a nudge or bull bar make sure you check out Accessory World. Presented By
