  2. CHOOSING COURSES • Make REALISTIC choices based on strengths, skills and interests • Ensure you have the course PREREQUISITEfor compulsory courses e.g. Applied to College, Academic to University & Enriched to Advanced Placement (AP)

  3. To be Completed . . . Check that all Diploma Requirements are being fulfilled: *Including Compulsory Credits, Electives, Group 1, Group 2 & Group 3, Literacy Requirement, and 40 Hours of Community Service *24 Credits by June 2016. Select any courses you are missing. *Explore Options on myBlueprint Post Secondary Planner *Complete the Post Secondary Research Worksheet *Enter Courses for next year using myBlueprint

  4. Future Pathways * Continue your research using myblueprint.ca/college/university sites * Go to future University and College Fairs, and open houses and campus visits

  5. Need 6 Grade 12 M or U courses to apply to University or a College Degree Program Colleges require several senior courses (Grade 11 & 12)at the College or Mixed or University Level  Grade 11 Prerequisites are required for some Grade 12 U/M/C courses Must have all the necessary prerequisite courses in order to apply to College & University programs or your application is not considered ***Visit electronicinfo.ca& ontariocolleges.ca & myblueprint.ca Post Secondary Planning

  7. Consider Coop Packages CO-OP 2 CREDITS CO-OP 3 CREDITS COOP 4 CREDITS Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Programs- Apply in Fall 2016 Listen to announcements and see Ms. Corvinelli in the coop office (example Electrical, Hairstyling, plumbing)

  10. important DatesMYBLUEPRINT IS now “ENABLED” (Opened) The Computer labs (on the 2nd Floor) will be opened on Thursday, January 28th , (after exams) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.to answer questions and assist with selectionsmyBlueprint will be “DISENABLED” (CLOSED) on Monday, February 8ththere will be a course information fair in the atrium during the lunch period on Tuesday, February 2nd & Wednesday, February 3rd.
