  1. A.P. English Language Crucibles in “The Crucible”

Today… • You will be placed in a group. • Your group will be given a large sheet of paper and a marker. • Your group will be assigned a character from “The Crucible,” and you will be asked to provide information on two aspects of that character. • Your group will also present this information to the class.

  3. Tomorrow… • You will be doing an in-class writing tomorrow based on the characters in “The Crucible.” You are allowed to use your notes and the play; however, you are NOT allowed to use your phone or another classmate.

  4. About the character that you are assigned… • You are to provide information on: • What/whom serves as a test for that character? Meaning what forces/characters in the play threaten your assigned character? • What/whom does your character test? Meaning what forces/characters in the play are threatened by your assigned character? WHEN CLASS IS OVER, YOU MAY TAKE A PHOTO OF THE ACCUMULATED POSTERS; HOWEVER, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE YOUR PHONE ON THE WRITING TOMORROW!
