    6. American Bittern I saw the American Bittern in some reeds at the marsh before it flew away I recognized it from its medium size and from its brown feathers.

    7. American Kestrel I saw this bird in the Suisun Marsh Rehabilitation center I knew it was a Kestrel because of its grey, brown, and dark red coloring. I also knew it was a Kestrel because it looked like a small hawk.

    8. Content Question Review Content Question: How can animals provide evidence for the health of Suisun Marsh? The way animals can provide evidence for the health of the marsh is as follows: if the animals that we observe are still there in a few months, and are still healthy, we know that the marsh has seen little change, thus is still a healthy place for them to live.

    9. Foot prints of marsh animals

    10. Suisun Marsh Project Conclusion I saw many healthy looking animals at the marsh including hawks, turkey vultures, herons, cranes, and pelicans, and decided that… According to my results, I conclude that the Suisun Marsh is still a healthy place for animals and birds to live in. Also, if we go back to the marsh in a few months our observations may stay the same or they way change depending what happens to the environment while we were gone.
