A dynamic europe • A revitalised single market • A digital single market (Roaming) • Public procurement (reduce costs for companies and public authorities; more flexible) • Effective standardisation (common standards create larger market access) • Better framework conditions for companies and consumers (common accounting rules) • An internal market for energy(promote competition, lower prices) • A competitive single market for knowledge • Framework programme research and innovation ”Horizon 2020” • Sustainable growth and development throughout the EU • Reform of the Cohesion Policy • Securing a futures labourmarket, health, and a labourmarket in need of everyone • Common trade policy with clout (closer political dialogue with EU neighbours, strategic partners and other partner countries in developing countries) • long-term growth and job creation The Danish EU Presidency 2012

A green europe • Green development and growth are interconnected • Strong European voice at the Rio+20 UN Conference in June 2012 • establish the framework for the 7thEnvironmental Action Programme • Higher energy efficiency and future energy and climate policy • To achieve the agreed EU 2020 goals support for the energy efficiency directive. • A single energy market (reduce dependence on imports, increase security) • Sustainable future agricultural and fisheries policies • A well-connected transport system and reduced air pollution • Green sustainable growth The Danish EU Presidency 2012
