You'll be impressed with the excellent sound quality! Put your picture display into the covered frame and slide the switch on the back to RECORD. Press the PLAY button and talk for up to 10 seconds. Then slide the switch and PLAY your message. A great way to introduce multiple messages or sequential steps. The vinyl folder has transparent pockets to hold four GoTalk Ones (included) and one large visual cue. The Talk About! Communicator has many of the same desirable features as the more expensive devices: Record a message with your own voice 20 seconds of high quality recording time Retains the message even when the batteries are changed Easily change the message and re-record over and over again Rubber bumpers help prevent scooting or sliding. Use our Jelly Sticky Padto help hold it in place even better. Optional switch jack version allows individuals to use their external switch (not included) to activate the message. Message can still be activated by pushing the button, making it useful for both switch users and non-switch users. Base measures 3 1/2" and button activation surface measures 2 3/4". Requires approximately 5 oz of pressure (moderate amount) if the user is directly touching the button to activate it. If the user can't apply much pressure or can't use their hands at all, then buy the version with the switch jack. This will allow a standard 3.5 mm switch (sold separately) to be plugged into the Talk About! Communicator to play the message.
