Directions: Choose ONE of the following assignments to complete so you can gain a better understanding of the moon.Choice #1:Draw and color a cartoon strip involving the moon and its 8 phases, in order. You can be as creative as you want with each cartoon, but each panel should explain what phase is being shown in the picture and contain at least 2 sentences of dialogue (like characters talking), which should add up to 16 total sentences (minimum).Choice #2: Write a song, poem, rap, etc., about the moon and its 8 different phases. You must mention all of the phases (new, wax. crescent, first quarter, wax. gibbous, full, wan. gibbous, third quarter, and wan. crescent), but also you might want to include other information like how the moon was formed, exploration by humans, etc. Your song, poem, rap, etc., must contain at least 16 lines.Choice #3: Write a story about the moon and its 8 different phases. Your story can be fiction or nonfiction. You must mention all of the phases (new, wax. crescent, first quarter, wax. gibbous, full, wan. gibbous, third quarter, and wan. crescent), but also you might want to include other information like how the moon was formed, exploration by humans, etc. Your story must be at least half a page long.
